Ulster Hall

First opened in 1862, the ‘Grand Dame of Bedford Street,’ as she is affectionately known, is one of the oldest purpose-built concert halls in the UK and Ireland. This grand Victorian building has survived two World Wars and welcomed names as famous and diverse as Charles Dickens and Snow Patrol.

The beautifully restored Ulster Hall is available to hire for your private, corporate or entertainment events. Perfectly placed in the heart of Belfast city centre, the venue is accessible from all main transport networks and close to many of the city’s attractions.

Grand Hall
The Grand hall seats up to 1000 visitors, or up to 1650 for standing concerts with the ground floor seating removed. The Grand hall is designed with acoustics in mind, giving the perfect platform to deliver keynote speeches or acoustic performances. And the beautiful Mulholland Organ provides an enviable backdrop to any event. You can hire lighting and sound packages from the venue and they can tailor their equipment to suit your needs. Back-of-house facilities include a range of meeting rooms and rehearsal spaces.
