Hillsborough Castle and Gardens
Hillsborough Castle has been the residence of the Royal Family in Northern Ireland since the 1920s, although its origins stretch right back to the 18th century. Since the 1970s, the castle has served as a venue for various stages of the Peace Process in Northern Ireland, and has played host to monarchs, minsters, presidents and princesses.
